Oh my goodness, time sure does fly these days. Last month, my little "Molly" (the insinkable Molly Brown) turned 6 months! To celebrate that we made it through, we gave her a cupcake...
Needless to say, she loved it, a lot. She certainly is not the same baby, amazing what a few months will do. She is a whole lot happier, and enjoys being here. At the beginning of the year I decided to let her cry it out. It took more than a few days, but she finally did it! I also found that if I went to her in the middle of the night, she had a harder day. Short story, I let her cry it out if she wakes up at night, because it means a happier little monkey the next day.
She had her check up yesterday. Surprise, she does have "acid reflux". I have seen 2 Dr's and 1 NP about this, and no one would do anything because she was gaining weight. Now that she is 7 months, he agree's something is not right and put her on medicine. If this does not clear it up, we will have to go see a GI specialist. I just feel bad for her (and whoever is holding her after her feedings) because she spits up a good half of her milk or food. But she has been a great sport.
I love that Kara has become so much fun. She is now pulling herself around, and is starting to get into things. She doesn't talk much, or babble, but can she really get anything in with 2 older siblings? Her hair is starting to come in, and sure enough, we have a red head for now, hence the "Molly". Either way, I am so glad she came to our family. I am glad she decided she needed to come, and didn't wait for mommy or daddy to say. She is truly a strong spirit, and I know she will do great things!

Peace Maker
Oh my little Princess. Lately, I have noticed that Cami is our peace keeper. On Monday, while getting things done, Mark and I got into a heated conversation (it doesn't happen much). While talking to him, I could hear this little voice coming from the back of the car saying, "STOP!!". As soon as we stopped talking, she was happy.
A few days later, Grant and I started at it, and soon after, I heard this little voice saying, "STOP!!!". And when we stopped and looked and her, she was happy again.
I've also noticed how she handles Grant. He can get a little emotional, just like his mommy. She is quick to rub his back, and meet him with a hug. I am very surprised by her role, but I love watching her little personality develope more.
My little diva!!
I wish I hadn't had my finger over the flash, because I LOVE LOVE Cami's smile!!!

Things to do with your toddler...
This activity was taken off pinterest... which I will admit, I am addicted to. On Monday, Mark had his day off, and so we had a lot of running around to do. Cami sadly did not get her nap. So she was less that happy in the afternoon. So I decided to let her do this.
Oh. My. I had no idea how much fun/occupied it would keep her. When Grant got home from school, I couldn't tell him no, and so he joined in.
Having fun together. They were probably in the for a good hour, if not a more.
Grant writing his name.
This is right after... But I've since cleaned it off with cleaner, and it came off. =)
All I can say is THANKS Pinterest!

Yeah, cause I'm THAT kind of mom!
First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! It is so sad, because a week before Christmas, my camera stopped working. All. Together. (Thanks crummy cannon). The holidays weren't to bad, and I can't complain, because the kids were all happy, more to come on that.
I am watching Kara right now, and I am amazed by how much she has changed this past month. Like my other kids, I have given in and allowed them to try some of the best things on earth, sweets. Cause, yeah, I am THAT kind of mother.
Let me just say this. I haven't always been a fan of cream puffs, mainly because I've only had them in a box out of the frozen food section. This was true, until, I met Alison. All I can say is that I married into this family to really see how food is suppose to taste.
Alison's cream puffs do. not. disappoint. Whoever marries this girl, is going to be lucky (and may end up chunky ;D). Kara has been interested in food, and loves sweet potatoes, green beans, banana's, and now she loves her Aunts cream puffs. And may I add, she was soooo angry with me because I ate the rest of the cream puff and didn't let her finish it.
All of my children have loved eating oreo's, especially early in life. Can you blame them?? It's not as if we wake up saying, man 6 oz of formula or breast milk sounds great. Yes, it is true my kids have a sweet tooth, but who really doesn't? My belief though is in moderation.
For New Years eve, Kara was given one oreo. To which, she loved. I love this last picture because it appears that Kara is trying to eat the cookie politely. She wasn't. But hey, at least she had her fun while the bigger kids had fun of their own.
Because I'll admit it... I AM THAT KIND OF MOM!! =)

Big Brother
How can you not LOVE this boy? He is the sweetest thing. Our family has been battling being sick for a month now. Last week, Cami was hit pretty hard by a cold. All she wanted to do was lay on the couch. Grant informed me that he was her big brother, and he needed to take care of her. I LOVE that he is so awesome with his sisters, and that he treats them well.
Well, most of the time
