Fast Lane Moments

I guess there is no better time to start blogging! Looking back on the past year, I am amazed at how quickly everything changed. The last part of May I decided to join ldssingles.com to just see "who" was out there. A day or so after joining a guy started talking to me. "Gearhead" was just some guy who talked to me every time I got on at night... Within a days I found myself giving him my undivided attention!

On July 18, 2008 we decided it was time to finally meet in person. Cautiously, I met him at a store, but only to be surprised by his dashing smile and good looks! I was quickly smitten with Mark Maroney!! For the next month he found every excuse to travel up to see me... So I am guessing, he has never confirmed that!

At the end of August, he went camping with me and my family. He put up with me for 4 days!! And at the end, he told me he loved me! On October 18, 2008 Mark asked me to be his wife and I happily accepted! We are hopefully going to be married in March of 2009.

This has been a trying year. It has had its ups and downs, but I am truly gratefull for the growth and strength I have had. I am so excited to become the "Future Mrs. Mark Maroney"!! I'll keep you posted!!

YEAH!!! You've finally started a blog. Will you show me how to post a large picture on mine? I really like the way yours looks. I am very happy for you and Mark. Hopefully the time will go quickly and it won't be too long before the long goodbyes are no longer!
