Oh Girl!

I think she wears my shoes more than I do!! But I love it!!!!

I'm so happy when Grandma & Grandpa come to visit

My parents came down this past weekend. Grant was so excited that they were coming to his house!! We played hard Friday night and all of Saturday. And as my dad put it, he went to parts of the state that he didn't even know existed. Thanks you Dad for helping Mark and then helping Randy!!!

I got to spend some good quality time with my mom. We were able to talk a lot, and I felt that our bond was strengthen more just by being with each other. No one is quite like my mommy!! I hope that she knows how much I love and appreciate all the advise and help she gives me.

Thank you Mom and Dad for coming and spending time with us!!! We had a lot of fun!!

Because I'm a mom

Do you ever get caught up reading a blog?

The one that stops you in your tracks and makes you cry?

Yeah, I've read quite a few that have left me this way. I am not sure if it is the strength of the moms I read about, or because I have my babies to hold and they don't. It leaves me with an intense gratitude that I am a mom, and that my kids have me. And together we are healthy.

Anything can happen. But I can only pray my children would know how much love and brightness they brought into my life. And I love them with every fiber of my being.

And because everyday, I get to see these little people grow more and more.

And that brings a smile to my face!!

Awe

Last week Mark and I purchased a new car for our growing family. Itching to take it somewhere, I decided we would go to Costco up in Tucson today. The kids did really well on the way up. After stopping at Costco and then having lunch, we headed back home.

I knew it wouldn't take Cami very long to fall asleep, and I was right. When I stopped at a light, I looked back and found my sweet little boy doing this:

Grant and Cami absolutely love and adore each other! If Cami gets fussy, Grant steps in and tells her it's ok because he is right there. When we go to the store and he wants something, he grabs two, one for him and one for Cami. I am so blessed to have kids that have such a great bond!!

My Little Diva

I'm not sure why, but I never pictured having a little girl like Cami. She is very girly, and then she has times when she just wants to play in the dirt. Either way, I love this little girl to death!! She is always there to make everyone smile. Lately, she has just become this social butterfly and loves to entertain people!! I cannot go to the store without someone stopping me to tell me how beautiful and amazing her smile is, and I don't disagree at all.

Cami is really into purses/handbags. It's pretty funny because I don't carry around either. I dislike them!! But she loves them!! She also loves clothes. I am really surprised with her because she already puts on some clothes by herself. Grant barely started doing that!!!

She had her 15 month check up last week. She was 23 pounds and 30 inches. When they gave her the shots, she cried for under a minute, and BAM, she was OK. She is walking/climbing all over the place, but she does not talk. She'll babble now and then, but she doesn't really do that. I figured, why talk when you have a big brother looking out for your needs and talking for you? This past Saturday we went to my parents house. We got into the car and Grant wanted some crackers. When I handed them to him, he then told me, Cami wants some too! He is always telling me what she wants or needs. I love them!! It is touching to watch their bond grow!

Brrr!!!!

On Thursday morning, Mark came in to tell me that it was 0 degree's!!! Now, to most (not Kendi) THAT IS FREEZING!!!! It was so cold. I know they had to close the Army base here to repair damaged water mains... The close meant that Mark had Friday off, YAY!!! We got up and went into Sierra Vista to do something. When we got back, it was in the 40's and this is what we came home too.

Dead cactus'. Sad.

Our house didn't have any problems!! Around us, people had frozen wells, and no heat. I truly count my blessings!!
